Review of Armani Blush

Sabrina Carpenter’s popularity skyrocketed at the release of her new songs “Espresso” and “Please, Please, Please”. With her sudden rise in popularity, people soon wondered what Sabrina Carpenter’s makeup routine was, as her makeup looks flawless. More specifically, the blush she used looked like a perfect shade of pink that complimented her skin well. It was soon revealed by her makeup artist that Sabrina Carpenter used the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in shade 62. I, as curious as others, wanted to see if this blush was as good as they said it would be, though, I opted for the powder blush over the liquid blush that Sabrina Carpenter uses.

Although I did not get the exact same blush as Sabrina Carpenter, opting for a powder blush instead of liquid blush meaning that it is not the exact same shade, I wanted to see if the blushes from Armani were worth the ‘hype’. I got the

. The powder Armani blush is stated to be a 'long-lasting' and ‘radiant finish’ blush. In addition, it is the Allure 2023 Best of Beauty Award winner.  I have very dry skin on my face as I suffer from eczema, therefore, my curiosity if a powder blush would make my face look cakey. 

In order to have the most accurate take on this review, I moisturized my face before adding the blush. Considering that my skin was moisturized and my normal makeup routine was done, I tried the blush. The blush blended into my skin easily and nicely and did not make me look ‘cakey’. It added a cute pink shade to the makeup. I personally loved the way it looked on my skin. I do believe that it does give a ‘radiant finish’ as they state it does. Even with my dry skin, the blush did not make my skin look dry. In order to test whether it was long-lasting, I put on a setting spray and went out for a couple of hours. The blush was still there after a few hours, however, it had faded a bit over time. Therefore, I would say it is ‘long-lasting’ as they claim it to be, however, it does fade bit by bit over time. 

This blush met all the claims that it is long-lasting and has a radiant finish. However, the product is not that big, and although minimal use can go a long way, the price of this blush, whether it is liquid like Sabrina Carpenter’s or a powder like mine, is quite expensive. Even though I believe the blush is worth being the community favorite, I believe there can be a powder or a liquid blush that gives similar results and is cheaper. Nevertheless, I would recommend the Armani Luminous Glow Blush in shade 52 and would buy it again, perhaps, the liquid blush this time.
